Recently, I discovered that a few of you were unsure about where to find Pinterest’s keyword tool. While this feature isn’t brand new and it’s something I’ve been looking at for awhile now, it’s still in a semi-early phase when we look at Pinterest rollout timeframes and not yet available to all profiles. Here’s a quick guide on locating it and my thoughts on its usefulness.

To find this tool:

1. Go to pinterest.com/ideas.
2. Click on an “idea” to see keyword insights.

My Take on Pinterest’s Keyword VolumeTool

While the keyword tool can help identify popular search terms, I still prefer Pinterest’s Smart Search feature. Pinterest isn’t like real-time social media platforms; it functions as a search engine. Without a universal rollout across all keywords, the tool’s long-term value may be limited, but it’s a nice addition if you’re like me and like to look at a ton of data.
